Microsoft probably wants to use Yahoo against Google.
I think what Microsoft really needs to do at this point is get good Windows software out on most of the major tablet devices.
If say in 5 years time Tablet sales area lot greater than PC sales, and most Tablets have an Apple OS or use Android, then MS is in big trouble....

Yeah Windows 8 on tablets is a must since it seems to be built for that type of stuff.
