Forums - Microsoft - So who's going to buy Final Fantasy Versus XIII on the 360 if it's announced as multiplat?

Sony doesn`t own that much of the company anymore. That was before Squaresoft and Enix merged which caused there share percentage to drop. On top of that I do believe I read somewhere that Sony only currently own around 3-5%. That certainly isn`t enough to have any major voice in the companies decisions.

Xbox 360 wants to Kinect &  PS3 wants to Move!  Why are both systems having such relationship problems?  The reason is they both become so infactuated with desire while watching the Wii as it waggles on by. They simply want what they can't have.

My appologies. I thought that ownership was Enix 30%, Sony, 10%, etc. Even 10% does not constitute significant influence

What`s wrong with ports? Most people are not really that bothered by multiple discs. FF13 performs just fine on X360.

PS: Why not try saying I prefer the PS3 for this game because.... instead of saying "Naww, I'll stick to playing it on its superior console: PS3". That right there made your post troll worthy and whether the rest of your post was meant to just be friendly discussion or not that first sentence really was not needed.

For one he never says  the game is superior but is rather more or less implying that the PS3 console itself is superior. Was likely just a poor choice of wording and the way he said it seems troll worthy. That`s just my opinion is all. Not really accusing him of it but it is crossing a that fine gray line between trolling and not trolling.

If true then my bad as well. I will admit when I am wrong. :) As Iveyboi says 10% still really isn`t enough to have a good voice in the company. I had the right idea but had the percentages off. Thanks for correcting me on that.

That so called superiorority on the PS3 version..... way IC it, all FF13 PS3 had going for it was less discs and slightly better resolution. All things that don`t mean a whole lot for most gamers(not constantly in forums). As far as actual game content? FF13 was the same on both X360 & PS3. That is what really matters. 

As for my reason for getting FF13 on X360.... it`s simple, I prefer to play on X360 if I can due to the controller, achievements, community etc. PS3/Wii are solely used for exclusive games or in a rare case the version on X360 is nigh unplayable.

No you are missing my point. What i`m saying is that if the game comes out on X360/PS3 or whatever I will get it for X360 if it stays on PS3 only then I`ll get it there. However, since I own every system it isn`t that big of an issue as to whether the game does or doesn`t come out on X360 I just am keeping my fingers crossed that it does since I enjoy gaming on that system more.  That`s all really!

While I do think the game will go multiplatform I dont think it needs to just like FFXIII, it solded well on 360 but it would have been a system seller on ps3 had it remained exclusive. But in the interest of being fair the outcome would be the same maybe selling a little bit less had it been exclusive to ps3 and this way 360 owners got the game without have to fork out money to buy a ps3 to play it.

I didn't edit the title a mod did, but I guess that's the right way to go because people take things a bit too serious here.

A avid 360 fan? Yes, a big supporter of it willing to support good titles for the 360.

If I were trolling the PS3 I would have made a topic titled "Who would buy Uncharted 3 on the 360 if it was multiplat?". I think It's pretty obvious this game will end up on the 360 and I just wanted the general opinion of the 360 user base on VGChartz.

The PS3 user base on this site is just a bit insensitive.



It's just that simple.
