Yeah I did mine 2 weeks ago. Got a 320gb HDD. I used the X-bar backup utility to backup to an external 40gb Fat32 HDD. You need to get a 3rd party Fat32 format EXE to go beyond 32gb formats.
The X-bar backup, backed up all downloaded PSN games, the works. I then did the straight swap over to the 320gb and yes, the screws were tight as. So, you need the best fir screw driver you can find, first.
Once the 320 was in, I went to the restore utility and then restored. That was it. Very simple for anyone with any previous PC experience. Simple even without.
