Forums - Gaming - CRAPCOM does it again, RE4 HD NO MOVE SUPPORT

KylieDog said:
RE4 HD is a very lazy effort, the main game areas and costumes/characters were touched up but the PS2/Wii exclusive costumes were not changed and seem to use the PS2 costumes, they do not fator into cutscenes either. Also the minigames like Seperate ways seem to be untouched for all the new areas and only the parts that overlap wit the main game are improved.

The game suffers slowdown in moments, lacks Move support, buttons were not remapped t something more appropiate for modern games and they didn't even bother to give the game a full trophy list or a Platinum.

Bingo!   That's exactly what i was thinking, it's a lazy effort all the way around.  But but but....Sony doesn't care about Move....seriously, give me a break.  RE5 sold extremely well on it's own, then sales were slowing down. Then what happens, they release Gold Edition with move support and sales held legs for the last year, especially in Japan. Capcom even went on record and said they are pleased with sales of the move edition  of RE5. So with this knowledge, it would be a given to include Move controls on RE4 for PS3.  Such a stupid move not to include it.

Also, it could be an issue with being downloadable and MS's policy of not having anything less then the PSN counterpart...

Yeah, everything I've read about this port just makes it seem like a lazy cash-in. The textures aren't updated for the most part, the cut scenes are still SD, no Move support, bad frame rate, and no new features at all besides trophies and achievements.

Wii version still seems to be by far the best.

maybe if you guys beg them they will release an update to the game with move support :P

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

No platinum or move support. Maybe they'll add through an update.

e=mc^2

Gaming on: PS4 Pro, Switch, SNES Mini, Wii U, PC (i5-7400, GTX 1060)

You have to wait at least 2 generations for the "ultimate" version

I got RE4 for the Gamecube and again for the Wii. I went ahead and downloaded for the 360 last night (haven't played it, yet). Capcom knows that fans will buy the game whether they work hard on it or not. I guess I was just another foolish fan that got taken advantage of. Wish I had read this thread before I paid for it. Sad thing is, I played the Wii version about two months ago and had a blast. Looks like I should have stuck with that one.

you can have a blast again when they release a new move edition for ps3 next year, personally I think wiiu edition will be better, but 3ds edition will probably be the best, you just need to buy it 3 more times to have the ultimate re4 experience.

Nah, I think the PS5 version will be superior.

if PS5 version can share the progress with Vita version then it will definitely be superior.

LOL at anyone who thinks Sony doesnt care about Move. Medieval, Resistance3, LBP2, that dance crap, Eyepet2, sorcery, etc. thats more than what Ninty is doing with motion+ and MS is doing with Kinect. Even if that were true, that does not make what Capcom did with RE4 Hd anymore lazy.Its just plain laziness, all they had to do was copy the control scheme from the Wii version, they already did pretty much that for RE5gold. You cant even blame it on MS' policy, because the PS3 version of GE will have Move support. Capcom has really been screwing up lately. I played this game when it came out GC and again for PS2, you guys wanna spend 20 bucks on this lazy effort (lazy in general) more power to you i had my fill, and there is still the Wii version i can get if i so choose
