If you love turn-based strategy game and love china three kingdom era, I think you should give it a try. It's a great game, the only downside is the long learning hour and cumbersome menu. I don't know why they don't available on Steam, considering it's only available digitally. If you interested, I think digital distribution like direct2drive have this game. On side note, RoTK1-11 is turn based strategy, but RoTK12 is real-time strategy.

From what I can tell it's going with a Shogun Total War approach.
Which... personally, i liked the old battle system MUCH better.

From the screenshot, I think they're not going with Shogun Total War approach, but more like Nobunaga Ambition Iron Triangle. It look like they just using only one map for all, no change into battle screen like Shogun Total War.
And yes, I too personally hope they stay with turn-based and the real-time system just stay for Nobunaga Ambition only, so the two franchise can be uniquely stand for each other, but well, looks like they still make that system into RoTK series too....
