Forums - General Discussion - VGC's Mafia Round 33 Uncharted Mayhem

man, nobody commented on my master plans!

Curse my minions, their incompetence was the death of me (figuratively).

ABC I hate you so Goddamn much, but that illustration reminds me of how lovable you are.

Also, I had a really good time, although I think the game was heavy against town. Instead of another mafia team, it should've been a limited mason group, limited to 1-2 times to use it.
Also, fyi, when a scum tries to recruit another scum, it's generally instant death for the recruiter.

But man, I've had some of the most fun scum roles ever. The poisoner, the body-snatcher, and the recruiter. This is probably the best one I've had. I would've sent each and every recruited townie to their death, fingering other townies with fake investigations lol.

Note to myself, never give ABC, or evil banana an important role.

And Hat, you know, I was accusing you to make it feel safe for others to use the method of interrogation. Usually scum don't fall for tricks like that until someone else makes them feel like they can blend in. Hence why Heph was so adamant on Linkz. I wasn't until other people like nen chimed in that he felt safe enough to go all out.

Also Vette, I told you. Lynching Heph was your only chance to win. I had no idea you were unkillable (which is bullshit, I might add).

Like I said in your thread, you were having one of your better games the first couple of days, but your plans were a victim of too many factions pulling at different strings in the game. You were lost in a sea of manipulation. Maybe that's why we forgot about you :P

The second part; run that by me again. I don't quite understand what you mean.

I'm saying your gambit is faulty.

Because people like me who run gambits play into them to assist in outing scum. Honestly, I was playing like town for most of the game.

And I wasn't lost in there. You weren't playing so you don't know. You can see I already alotted Heph's paranoia into my plans. There was about zero manipulation on Vette's part. I held most of the cards. I'm only being honest. Vette was nonexistent and Heph couldn't be bothered with trying to get me lynched because no townies suspected me. My kills were wisely chosen, and had my partners been better, it would've been over a long time ago. You know that, Hat.

What gambit? O_o

Also ... it's kinda of a sad sight when you toot your own horn like that. Stop it. But if you can do it, I'll do it: had I asked for doctor's protection (without even him really protecting me, just my mentioning), Linkz and I would have torn some shit up together and you would be the first to lynch. I knew you were scum from night 1. And I would have done anything day 2 to get you hung. But alas, you played the better game, I admit that. But it took a disastrous game for you to taste sweet victory, well a tie anyway.

I concur with the party of me not playing to understand, but between abc, baalz and  others fun readings. I kinda lost track of you :P

oh and heph was just having a terrible game, well at least before he turned scum.

Please, I toot your horn all the time. It's time someone tooted mine. :D At least that's how sex works.

I'm just warning you that I play your game. I respect your endeavors, and if it takes me just not helping out anymore, I'll do that.

P.S. You really had nothing on me. I'm just really bad at diverting attention away from myself, and didn't want it there.

Also, you mentioned that nen does something every game as scum. What was that thing? And what did you have on me besides participating in your gambit party? No trade secrets is acceptable to me, but you're rather after me most games anyway.

Oh, and your gambit of, "make myself seem suspicious with superficial reasoning and attack anyone who bites"

I'm just pulling your leg man. You had a really good game.

Also @ ^ that's only really part of my "gambit" It's really trying to get people to post so I can get a better read. And other stuff.

As for me not having nothing on you, that's something you can't confirm or decide for :P

I never once second guessed your alignment in the dead thread or day one for that matter. I have my ways of knowing. Other games? When I'm sure someone's scum, I stick to them until a lynch is complete and successful ... I don't think I've ever led a lynch against you so I don't understand "you're always suspicious of me". Unless you're talking about Hos's and FoS's I throw around like every other player ...

hmmm ... what was it that nen did again. I'ma have to take a range check on that because I honestly forget. But I'm sure he did something that struck my nerve.

Yes it was heavy against the town. I wanted to have another townie of two and losing Kantor didn't help at all.

I am Aware of the usual death for the recruiter and maybe I should have done that. Or had people when recruited lose their roles. Or Heph and Radish not recruitable. But I was sure that the evil banana and then latter you were going to get night killed by the other faction or the vig. I was mistaken.

I really just wanted drake as a serial killer. But I didn't want him killing so fast.

Anyway next time I do a game it will have a simpler lay out.

As for vette being bullet proof. That was because he could get and did get scanned. Also in the very unlikely circumstance that he got role blocked and night killed it would have worked :P

An no vetts way to win would have been night killing you

Well as far as we knew, I took "no action" the night before... so we both thought i'd still have my selfheal shot and that we'd both be unkillable that night. Why do you think I was being a smart ass all day? Had we known i'd be likely to die though, we wouldn't have settled so easily for a no lynch ^^

I don't think we'd have thought of the killing me scenario though, but yeah that would have made vette the winner...
