nen, why did you choose to target hat?

The obvious answer would be "the same reason that made me vote him day 1".

Why do you keep asking question you already know the answers to Linkz ?

Having the words come out of your mouth is very important. I don't understand why you'd choose a target that would either out you as cop if you suddenly switched to defending hat or wouldn't help your case against him without outting yourself since you were already on him the previous day. If you want to "keep surviving the nights" you sure went about it in a bizarre way.

Do you wonder if there are other cops when you land the role? other SKs? other trackers? not in a 12 player game, but hey, linkz's flip will reveal if i'm right or if he's very paranoiac ^^

The first thing I'll wonder when I land a cop role is my sanity. Depending on the size I may wonder if there's another cop.(with a different sanity likely) SK and tracker not so much.

But miller isn't a power, it's just a variation of a role.(Vanilla or Power) Already putting town at a possible major disadvantage, I wonder if there's more "drawbacks", town is beefed up, or mafia is weak.

Yes, it's clear hat knew he was a miller. I'm also curious if there are any more, as it was something I wondered day one. It seems unlikely at this point though.

Day one you wondered if there were other millers? is that a slip linkz?

How is that a slip? I've read games that have multiple millers. I knew it wasn't impossible to have more than one, but it's still hard to fathom.

Why would I try to fakeclaim miller if I thought there was actually one or more and thus would be even more likely to be lynched than the fakeclaim itself?

Or maybe you claimed miller based on the fact that you read games whith multiple millers and found it safer than waiting to be scanned guilty?

You say it's hard to fathom....  so how could you even consider it in a small game... Assuming 2 scum (to compensate), that means 20% of the town would be miller, meaning cop is just as likely to hit them than scum... without forgeting the inherent counterclaim to support the cop ruling and the following second lynch to the obvious liar.... 2 days lost, 4 town deaths... yeah very likely in a 12 player game

I consider it because I never rule out anything. It's also much easier to know something as fact when a flip and a PM prove it to be so. Only time will tell how imbalanced it is.

Your scenario is ridiculous though. What scum would counterclaim miller just to get a townie lynched?

obviously, the counter claim comes from that second miller, not from a scum claiming a 3rd miller....

The point stands. What scum would counterclaim a second miller just to get a townie lynched?

And I don't know how many times I have to repeat myself that I received no penalty(though Wonk could have lied to me in PMs and it still would be unknown given the final votals day one) because I didn't break the rules. I am a miller, but claiming that is like a townie claiming they scan innocent. It's not a roleclaim. It's beyond me how people haven't figured that out already.

Now you're just playing with words (and pissing me off in the process). Tell me what did your ROLE PM say? Miller? Then you fucking roleclaimed when you said "I am a Miller."

I'd say it sounds relieved. I was pretty sure there was more than just 2 lynch candidates.

Plus, I don't understand what the problem is. I grilled nen pretty hard, and now I'm not so worried about him. I'd say that's a victory. I still don't know what to do about Linkz, sadly (more frustrating than sad).

All we have to do now is move onto someone else, whoever that someone else might be. I've heard some good ideas tossed around. We could also stick with Linkz, just to settle everything once and for all, or we could look at ABC, who is another good option.

Which probably wouldnt be a bad option.  Considering that the only way his story is confirmed is through his death. His claim is going to stay a topic until that happens, which will just serve as a distraction to our main focus of getting rid of scum. And as long as he is a possible lynch suspect I dont see the mafia going after him.  He would be a good target for a vigilante, but who knows if we have one.

The main problem that I have with the Linkz situation is that he's such a large topic of conversation that we don't seem to have time to talk about much else. Obviously if we lynched him we would be able to make more progress, but there's a good chance (in my eyes) that Linkz is genuinely a miller and it might be better looking elsewhere. However, if the Linkz situation is going to keep distracting us then it might be best to get rid of him - particularly if some players have decided that he's 100% going to be lynched eventually anyway. I am going to be keeping my vote on ABC for now though

Quoting myself because I wanna add to what I said and make an appeal to the rest of the town to consider lynching Linkzmax since the day is starting to drag on (yesterday got way fewer posts than previous days).

What really gets to me is the fact that Linkz has modified his version of what his roleclaim implied. At first, Linkz said that Wonk told him he would suffer no penalty (Linkz suggested it was either because Wonk reacted to the loophole it created or because he got lucky) but now Linkz has changed his story to: "Claiming Miller isn't a real roleclaim, that's why I didn't lose my vote).

I'm guessing he went for this angle since the other one was met with doubts by some players.
