Despite the magnitude of posts that have happened since I got on, there isnt much that is on my mind.   Linkz felt scummy early on, as I too didnt think their would be 2 millers in the game,  but I just dont think that he is lying though.  He has put up a good defense and I have started to believe he isnt scum.  

As for your other question on who visited Prof.   At first I thought it was a possible cult, cause why else would you be informed that you were visited,  unless I missed a good explanation for this, that was all I could come up with.  But the more and more I fleshed out the scenario it didnt fit.  

I do agree with Final-Fan that Heph seems to be having tunnel vision on linkz, it could be a scum pushing for a mislynch or a over protective town player.

nice theory but he said he was informed that the guy failed... I doubt you'd be informed of the failure to recruit you... you wonk confessed to a mistake shortly after.....in any case, even in this scenario, it was a fail ^^

FF, if you fake claim a role, you're bound to wonder if someone already has it, but suspecting someone has the same role as you in a 12 player game.... is a bit off unless you're a vanilla townie. Hence, him saying that he was wondering about it is suspicious because it's an unnatural reaction on day one, unless he fakeclaimed miller that is, in which case it becomes a confession "when I fake claimed I was afraid that someone else would counter claim".

And I haven't used this as an argument, my post is one sentence, pointing the oddity out, not making a case based on it.

Do you wonder if there are other cops when you land the role? other SKs? other trackers? not in a 12 player game, but hey, linkz's flip will reveal if i'm right or if he's very paranoiac ^^

You know this is a very good point. A few posts back I asked for all other millers to claim immediately. I figured that maybe Linkz was doing that in this post, but your thought makes so much more sense. Why would a miller think there are other millers?

I was doing the same. Since when does wondering if there are "any more" millers day one become wondering if there are any millers period. It wasn't something I thought very likely, but I could imagine a twisted Wonk laughing it up with a town full of millers and no cop. The ultimate red herring. I thought slightly more likely would be two millers, one powered and one not. That left about 95% positivity that I was the only miller, and given how everyone reacted to the claim I thought that to be the case. Or rather how I thought everyone reacted until hat's flip and hindsight made it obvious.

And I don't know how many times I have to repeat myself that I received no penalty(though Wonk could have lied to me in PMs and it still would be unknown given the final votals day one) because I didn't break the rules. I am a miller, but claiming that is like a townie claiming they scan innocent. It's not a roleclaim. It's beyond me how people haven't figured that out already.

I still have to process nen's lack of claim, but scanning hat seems like the exact thing you would do if you wanted to be obvious as the cop and I don't think nen is that dumb. That being said, it's something that sorts itself out at some point so no need for a lynch today.

How is that a slip? I've read games that have multiple millers. I knew it wasn't impossible to have more than one, but it's still hard to fathom.

Why would I try to fakeclaim miller if I thought there was actually one or more and thus would be even more likely to be lynched than the fakeclaim itself?

Or maybe you claimed miller based on the fact that you read games whith multiple millers and found it safer than waiting to be scanned guilty?

You say it's hard to fathom....  so how could you even consider it in a small game... Assuming 2 scum (to compensate), that means 20% of the town would be miller, meaning cop is just as likely to hit them than scum... without forgeting the inherent counterclaim to support the cop ruling and the following second lynch to the obvious liar.... 2 days lost, 4 town deaths... yeah very likely in a 12 player game

I consider it because I never rule out anything. It's also much easier to know something as fact when a flip and a PM prove it to be so. Only time will tell how imbalanced it is.

Your scenario is ridiculous though. What scum would counterclaim miller just to get a townie lynched?
