I started rereading the thread and got the first page working for a bit on my phone. From the flavor it looks like whoever killed Hatmoza has a staff, and the beggining flavor earlier said it might have mind controling powers. I'm sort of leaning towards truckosaurus if there is a mind controller. This post though by linkz bothers me

I'm also really suspicious of Linkz due to there being a flipped miller already, but I'm not yet convinced that he's the best lynch the town can come up with.

I'm with Baal that (IMO) speculation about the rod doesn't have enough meat to it to justify any decision-making, so there's not much point dwelling on it. To me, the way it was portrayed in this morning's flavor does NOT support the "mind control tool" view.

I would also be upset to learn that hatmoza's bomb power got canceled for the comment TOS mentions. But it's just as likely it was blocked or negated somehow, or even only applied to being lynched (which he wasn't). A miller lynch-bomb would really have been detrimental to a town, which points to either a weak mafia or a lot of town power roles.

Now I'm not sure which are more suspicious, people calling it wild or people thinking it makes sense.

The time-sensitive bit was in regards to you not responding to my "how sure of hat being mafia" question quick enough for my tastes. The last time I tried trapping you with questions about the doc fakeclaim, you disappeared.

Unlike normal scum, Godfathers, Spies, some Serial Killers, etc. show up innocent if investigated. Counters to roles make for a good setup. Mafia does not have to be underpowered(compared to town power) for counters to exist.

The claim is mostly unverifiable,(I already joked about a Hobo or Lie Detctor confirming me, but they are true examples) but I'm the same as anyone else that claims town and hasn't been confirmed. Don't rely on powers so much and actually hunt some scum. From my eyes you're 0 for 2. After my interaction with radish before deadline I'm more inclined to thinking he's town than scum, so if you're town then you're doing horrible. I still don't think you are though.

About the bomb situation; I just researched the "super saint" bomb, and it looks like it only activates on the person that hammered them, but nothing happened since it was a night-kill

About the rod; I don't really know what to think, but I don't think that it's actually going to play a major part in the game tbh

Are you asking me about the flavor? I already chimed in last night with my take. I do think the idea that bodies/roles are being switched is far-fetched, since I know I wasn't any type of bomb and I'm still a miller, so there wasn't any partial or complete transfer of role. Unless someone actually claims to be affected, I think it's just fluff. I imagine we all look like strangers to each other, until reverted to our true selves.

I assumed that since the characters would otherwise recognise eachother, this plot device with the rod was needed to add some sense
