Yes, Sony's system is very open, which does give devs freedom, but I never feel like I'm connected to friends or anything like that on it. It is more like a PC (not including Steam) and I'm not sure I like that on my consoles.



Thank god for the disable signatures option.

Nah, just stating the truth and being a bit sarcastic about it. Both PSN and XBL have their issues though for the average gamer, PSN's stand out a lot more. Some of the things Sony set up in PSN are inexcusable. Lack of cross-chatting is a no-brainer option and the fact that PSN still lacks it baffles me.

If the PS3 does catch up to the 360 this year then it's likely to overtake live with accounts as the Ps3 is free online which may force sony to make improvements
