I'll agree with some of the earlier posters, this looks like battlefield XD, wtf. Resistance 1 looked better than this :P, why would they release a shot like that XD

Final* Word on Game Delays:

The game will not be any better or include more content then planned. Any commnets that say so are just PR hogwash to make you feel better for having to wait.

Delays are due to lack of proper resources, skill, or adequate planning by the developer.

Do be thankful that they have enough respect for you to delay the game and maintain its intended level of quality.

It's a VERY early screenshot. It should look better now. This isn't the final version.


 Well I'm not positive or anything about my following statement, but it feels like their map layout tools would look better than that XD, but yeah it could be a (really) early shot.

The similarity I see is in the fence thing at the foreground of the image so I think I can believe this is an early shot without any enhancements. If this is a real image of Resistance 2, then they're probably putting the level together before they add all the other stuff.

Here, found this in that same thread. It shows before and after screens of effects in the creation of levels in Resistance. That may help make the image about Resistance 2 more likley to be real.
