I waited in matchmaking all night last night...but nothing! :)

Also regarding your earlier post, the way I saw it is Gears 1 didn't waste my time with trying to deliver a sub par story and laughable dialoge, Gears 2 did. Even in sngle player I preffered Gears 1 as I could turn on console, play for 30 mins, kick some locust ass and go about my day. In Gears 2 I would have listened for 10 minutes of radio dialoge, watched 5 minutees of cut scenes, play the standard Gears gameplay for 10 minutes and then have some Unreal engine 3 tech demo based set piece where I am flying the magic dragon.

The battery in my controller died, the sun was in my eyes, I got the address wrong, I woke up late, my dog ate my homework, and my grandma died!

I did read that link, though.  Couldn't disagree with the guy, more....and neither could 90% of the people that replied in the comments section.  Andy you don't play GeoW for 30 minutes, kick some locust butt and go about your day!!  That's what Horde Mode was for!
