So because Mass Effect will have games that follow seperate story lines within the same universe it's the same as a game that has thematical links but completely seperate universes?

what 2 mainline non MMO final fantasy games are set in the same universe?

FFIV, FFVII, FFVIII... oops I said three. Maybe it's not clear but the final fantasy universe is an evolving one, it changes through times but it is always the same.

And no, ME is not FF. FF sold millions without shooting and cheap love affaires.

Really? I always thought the series had a new universe every time with a few recurring elements, are you sure 6 7 and 9 are set in the same universe they are pretty different the planets/world maps look tottally different and their histories conflict...

not to mention the fact that FFVII was origonally going to be set in modern day New York city...

IV == 4

The FF wikia doesn't mention it, however I remember that one character in FFVIII talks about the fact that once there were two moons and that one of them disappeared.

A series that began great, and is now rotting?

Spoke my mind.

Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!

No i have to say there both different.

God I hope not. The Quality of ME1-3 is amazing (looks like ME3 is holding up well from previews) whereas Final Fantasy has fallen off over the years to put it lightly. No offense to the FF fans, I just can't stand the newer ones (last one I played to completion was FF9, though my wife enjoyed FF13).

It's just that simple.

I hope not, that means they'll only make eight good games before they spiral into oblivion.

I blame the IV - VI thing on lack of sleep... I have never been tested for dislexia but I am pretty sure I don't have it lol, tho I do seem to be making a lot of that kinda of mistake lately...
