Forums - Microsoft - Battlefield 3 is two discs on Xbox 360

I actually love multiple cds during PS1 era because of the artwork differences.

It was also the marker of how far I've come along the game, like I'm on disc 2 already, I must have really love the game if i'm almost halfway through it. I don't really think it's something that should cause a fuzz unless you want to make someone feel worse over some silly matter.

take advantage of what you have THIS GEN(blu ray) and stop taking the 1 disc 8 gig limit route then they can just make the 360 have multiple disc AND we will all have a better game

i would of course get the game that's on 1 disc if i had both console's but in the end we all win :)


thats all well and good, but the problem is that MS charges for more than one disc. I believe that Ninty also charges for use of the dual layer disc, you can see how some devs might not be gaga for that idea

Not only that, but Blu-ray media is more expensive and takes longer to burn content into.

i have literally purchased games because i was too lazy to swap a disc before. is it the end of the world??  of course not but don't tell me it isn't an inconvenience...that's why the tv remote was invented, because people didn't want to get up to change the channel anymore.  it's why mp3s are soo much better than cd's too.  it's why i watch so much more netflix now (on my ps3); cause the disc based solution sucked.

..and i do go outside and workout.

Ugh! If you do go out, you might want to buy yourself a couple of new ears.
