Forums - General - I'm so late to the party!

So I was at PAX and talking to game developers about my project currently in development. When talking again and again developers asked me what my name was on Twitter. Or they would ask me to follow them on Twitter.

However I got on Twitter years ago, posted two tweets and chose to abandon it. I decided to use FaceBook status instead.

However after talking with developers I realized that on Twitter I could follow all of them more closely. As a game journalist thats very important.

So I went on Twitter and added all the developers and started tweeting again. I also went to my biggest role model Victor Lucas and went to see who he was following. I started following all kinds of game developers and such.

Anyways I am so late to the show. But am now on Twitter. Does everyone else here tweet? Now that I'm following over 200 people its beginning to become intense and I'm betting I will be following alot more really soon!

So whats your opinion of Twitter? A Developer at PAX said a game journalist without Twitter was not worth talking to! I took that as a major sign I needed to get back on!

I think Twitter is a good waste of time but not much more. I see why many people are interested in it and why so many follow different Tweeds (did I use the word right, now? ^^°). But in the end it really isn't much more than a waste of time, as said before.
