Maybe... But just maybe. I have a strong dislike for campers who sit away from the action and get kills without even aiming for a weak spot. |
i fill the same way.
i play killzone so its natural to get sniped cause it rarely happens and theres no real good camping spots and the snipers on KZ are freaken good and never stay in the same spot.
once they kill you they move on. i had hell finding one sniper one day. i went after this guy 3 times and he was never in the same spot and normaly i could see the cloak but for some reason i just couldn't find him.
i also declared war on a group of 5 snipers on KZ2 on a sort of dessert stage. i was 3 for 5 i think. i had to use some mid rang sniping and a granade with the standared assault rifle.
it seems COD makes sniping to easy so thats there go to weapon. i've never seen quik scoping on a battlefeild game.

you do realize having no recoil no one hist shots is like the opposite of cod. Hell you can even snipe with an mp5k accross the map in that game (MW2)
well, on PC quickscoping never happened to me. the servers I play usually have a limit of snipers (on average 4 per team) and they actually play as snipers. it didn't even occur to me when I read it.
the words above were backed by NUCLEAR WEAPONS!
Overall I think it's good. Sniping should either be considerably harder or less effective then it is in most games. Making it too hard can be frustrating (or even take down skill) so this shouldn't be so bad.

I have to agree, quickscoping shouldn't be in any FPS game or at least in any FPS game that strives to be "real life". |
I wish Infinity Ward would learn that.
