Forums - Gaming - How is it legal for EA to own the rights to the US military?

SATIRE!!

Their deal with the US military will hold no water in the US courts, particularly a US Circuit Court of Appeals and the US Supreme Court. The US Military is not a private entity that can enter into contracts such as this. Hell, from my graduate work, the US Military cannot hold intellectual property. They can hold it for the US Government in the interest of US citizens, but they cannot hold it themselves as the US Army, Marines, Navy, etc.

The US Military is public domain, except for the "industrial complex" part, which consists of private weapons research and manufacture.

If anything, EA got robbed and will eat crow. The US Military has just taken their money and is laughing behind Ritticiello's back.

If I am wrong in any of my assertions, then please correct me here and publicly as my comments are only stated to further this interesting discussion.

I was being dramatical and drawing attention to the fact that GamrFeed is not somewhere where you should be posting fake news, this isn't April fools people. I did get a couple calls from friends who saw this story in their forums and some people actually believed it. I decided to take to the forum and create a dramatical thread as if the story were true. Draw attention to the fact that VGChartz is seriously loosing integrity with articles such as these.

Seriously this is nuts, funny and its funny to see people believe it. But sad that the site couldn't actually report a real story. A made up story had to be released instead.

Hahahahaha, lol!

Its stupid!
