Hi guys just wondering if any of  the vgchartz members play a bit of rugby? What positions do ye play and what club do you play for? I have been playing the sport for 15 years and I can't get enough of it.

Used to play fly-half or loose-forward, but I gave it up for hockey when I realized how much more beneficial hockey is for your cricket skills.

Nope but one thing I like is Rugby Union in Australia has a pretty much a universal following . Even though Australian rules is the No 1 Football code we as a nation tend to follow the Wallaby's some thing that rugby League with it's following concentrated in two states would love to have.

I was a sideline dancer (the austrlian version of cheerleader, being female I was not allowed to play rugby in school and by uni I was an auto entry onto the dance team) for rugby union and league in high school and university

I am a HUGE fan of rugby union, though I have now graduated, I still follow the sport religiously, though since 2001 i Have supported the all blacks, not thec wallabies, much to the annoyance of my friends. I still like Australia & they are a good team but I just like NZ's style and their players more, plus I could never support a team involving Quade Cooper (Aus number 10)

This year I even moved to NZ so now am experiencing the world cup 1st hand!, its great, Absolutely love the game & the all blacks & canterbury crusader (super 15 team) teams

haha and proud of it, I still like Australia a small amount but I met the team once and they were not very nice (except matt giteau, he is a gentleman) very into themselves and overly cocky (though that is not exactly a rarity in australian culture it must be said). Alternatively I have met multiple all blacks (a few multiple times) and they are nicer to hang out with than some friends can be, very down to earth and genuine, AND they didnt h.ate me for the aussuie accent, haha

NZ just play a more interesting game to watch imo, & the crusaders have ritchie & dan, I used to support the hurricanes (due to their ultra flashy attack play) as i'm from queensland & the reds always s.ucked (except for this year of course but now quade plays for them) so i just suported the team i liked watching the most rather than the 'home' team. I do hope Aus beat South Africa tomorrow (even though quade is there) But I am a very Adamant All Blacks supporter at heart.

I only watch rugby when the rugby 7s comes to town.

I played a year of rugby my last year of high school. I was one of the locks. I was pretty bad but it was my first time ever playing rugby.

Our team was 3rd out of 6 teams in the city, but my school is a Basketball and Volleyball school, the two teams that beat us are way better at rugby. 

Ahh yeah 7's its fun to watch! its impossible to get tickets when they come to NZ cause they sell out in like 2 mins. Does anyone here follow the Super 15??
