Forums - General Discussion - SCEE to replace PSP for UK riot theft victim

Video can be seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Gex_ya4-Oo&feature=player_embedded

The boy in the video was Ashraf Haziq aged 20. In the video you see a gang of youths assist Haziq to his feet despite his injuries. They then sift through his backpack and steal his belongings. One of the items stolen from him was a PSP. Alan Duncan, SCEE Marketing Director, has reached out to Haziq after seeing a tumblr. page called ‘Lets do something nice for Ashraf’.

Duncan said the company would “like to give Ashraf a new PSP and games.”

“If we can find out how to get it to him we’ll replace the PSP,”

Duncan requested to be put in touch with the hospital where Haziq has been treated with a broken jaw as he got caught up in riots in London. His message has been received and staff are processing the request.

Very nice of Sony too do something for this person. That video shows how despicable and how undeserving some people are of their lives.
