It isn't a huge deal, but in the future, try to do bolded, and Vote: Heph.  It makes it much easier for me to spot.

Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.

So Heph, you can ignore my last question and explain exactly why I have an HoS and not Truck/Wonk?

Prof, what are your thoughts on Heph and Wonk both being scum? I can answer first if you'd prefer.

I'd like to hear some of those ideas along with why you trust prof

Heph's rubbing me completely wrong today, and has gone up my list of suspects to the top.

If you've read the thread at all, you would understand why I thought Truck was scum. You're giving me the warm fuzzies, but I have to wonder if you're just making up for that suspicion and there's the possibility of tossing Heph under the bus in order to look better by it. That said, I don't consider it a strong possibility because you would have to count on hitting the cop soon or risk being scanned for certainty.

If Truck/you and Heph were both mafia, then night one's death could have also been an attempt at blending in with prof, FF, and myself. This is something prof would usually put more stock into than myself, so I was curious if he'd make this point at all. Instead the opposite point was made, that the mafia team was probably newer players. This is making me question my town read of prof from yesterday.

I never said I trust prof, just that I had a town read on him. He's done something I've never seen him do as scum, and only done as town though that isn't to say that he does it every time when he is town. Before it's even asked, I don't care to explain that tell. I also thought the way he ignored my vote, even though there was no logic to it, was townish. Now, prof's hesitation to vote Heph is also troubling me, to the point that I'm pretty much back to neutral and that's not at all where I want to be.

this is hardly profs intimidation

however you are stonewalling

what do you call someone refering to himself as a "pro" player and to others as "newbies" if not intimidation? modesty perhaps?

Proff is not shy on words, but he's also calculating. His sevral reference to high profile players being still alive and his little dance with linkz are both a way to probe players, to flater the ones he designates as "pro" and to intimidate the "newbies". It may be due to the lack of post in this game, but it stands out as exagerated to me this game.

and what do you mean by stonewalling?

not true it's a completely legitimate question. Why not kill the players that have shown time and again that they can figure things out eventually? This is a very serious question, and it troubles me that not only do you not see that yourself, but that you are trying to use it against me. To me, it only looks like you are intentionally ignoring the fact.

Your hos is because you do the "oh we're not dead" dance too.

If it makes you feel safer "tonight" then I'll call you scummy scum scum, and I'm going to see to it that you're lynched tomorrow ... unless I'm killed ... and well then I can only hope my fellow townies take up my cause.

haha oh man, I somehow doubt you will be dead tomorrow.

That was quite a long 24 hour night :P

Well since prof and I are both still alive, he must be scum. It's infallible logic

Vote: theprof00

Hey Heph, how are you enjoying the flavor?

Proff has the vote for this and the jonyo twilight vote.

Day one I was trying to make prof look like a lynch candidate. If he's scum it makes no difference, if he's town I consider him an asset and hopefully mafia think I was being truthful about going after him, which would see us both through the night. My "oh we're not dead dance" was 'following' up on my claim and seeing if anything would come of it. Unfortunately, the activity on day two was also abysmal, so until now nothing has come of it.

Now if you were going to HoS me for the day one interaction and accuse me of trying to set up an explanation as to why we're both still alive, then you'd have a much stronger case.

I'm almost with you on that Wonk, not only does he directly throw out my observation, he uses it for a vote!

I'd much like to know what the hell Heph is thinking. Sure I could have said that to make myself look like a mafia target, but I cannot believe that he has missed this pretty significant detail. Until last night, none of the usual "pros" (using the term loosely) have been targeted, yet in every single game before this (well, nearly all) one of us has been killed. Even in games of 20 players, it's almost always the same 3-5 people.

I'd like to know if he noticed or didn't notice this detail. To me it looks like he's noticed it at some point in the game and thought of it as suspicious to bring up.

Also of note is that he forgot his personal flavor in this post. Maybe a sign of preoccupation?

and to answer proff... From the begining of the game I was posting from a cell phone, either in the morining or at night, this meant less posts, and less content.

Now I post from computers, more content, more posts, no need to compensate with a little additional flavor.

You know I asked if you liked the flavor because you kept dropping flavor hints. You responded that you did, which I thought to be very fitting. The oddity though is that you felt you had to include "to be honest" when answering such a seemingly innocuous question. I would think you could give me a straight answer about your feelings on the flavor regardless of alignment, so that phrase makes me feel like you're saying, "here I'm really telling the truth."
