Forums - Microsoft - Starcraft 2 coming for Xbox 360?

Personally, I wouldn't play it on anything but PC.

I agree. It's just way to slow to play with a controller. Starcraft is the type of game where every second counts and if your even behind for couple of seconds it might make you lose. Every seen those professional South Korean kids playing Starcraft?

EDIT: Not to mention, you're gonna get pwned by the PC gamers if this game is cross-play

360 IS OPERATIONAL AFTER 37 DAYS!

Doubtful it'd be cross-play unless MS allowed for some strong Mouse and k/b support.

But since RTSes have been a great succuess on the X360, I'm sure Blizzard would love to see it happen for some extra cash.

As for battle.net - Microsoft, I am sure, would allow some things to happen if they could get such a huge console exclusive.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Not gonna happen unless Microsoft buys out Blizzard :)

RTS + consoles = crappy gimped game.

Starcraft 2 will be best on a compter anyways.

It could happen, seeing as how one of the 360's main points is being a very PC-like console. They've got the FPS genre and nearly PC-level online covered, so RTS would certainly make sense.

I just hope they include decent keyboard and mouse support. =/

Come to think of it there could be issues because Microsoft charges to play online and Blizzard provides free online with the exception being its MMORPG.

would make more sense to me on the PS3 with Keyboard and Mouse support to be honest , but whatever - I'm happy for 360-guys if this rumor is for real ..

the PC version will still be the definite version for me and Blizzards system requirements always are pretty low , so I have no doubt I'll be able to play it with my PC :)

@Branko: Well, they did offer once (while Ghost was in development) but Blizzard turned them down.

@Stickball: I don't see why they wouldn't just use Battle.net for the PC version and allow MS to use XBL, seeing as the hardcore SF fans will have the PC one anyhow.

I honestly don't see this as an issue. Xbox 360 users are well used to paying money for online, and Blizzard sure as hell isn't going to say no on principle if MS offers them a slice of the cash.
