It actually isn't the most simplistic.  It is the most complicated.  Me being the mafia requires one lie on night 0, 1 lie on night 1 (which has been admitted by me), and 1 lie on night 2 for a total of 3 lies.  You being the mafia requires 4 total lies including the one admitted by me.

If Trucks were mafia, then Heph must have lied and went after Trucks.  One of us also has to be the roleblocker, which means since we both targeted Heph according to who revealed what, we would have blocked Heph's kill.  Since this didn't happen, whichever of us is the roleblocker must have targeted either Trucks, or the other one of us (if we targeted Wonk, then Trucks kill would have gone through).  So we have 2 lies on night 0.  Now, on night 1, we have the Trucks and I targeted Heph (I originally lied and said Wonk).  Since Heph did not kill anybody, either Heph targeted you, and our doctor stopped it, or I blocked Heph's kill.  Regardless, we have 1 lie on night 1.  Now, on night 2, Trucks claims to have targeted you, you claim to have targeted Trucks, and I also targeted Trucks.  One of us would have blocked his kills.  This means one of us is lying.  On top of this, Wonk died, not you, who Trucks claims he targeted.  So Trucks also would have lied about his target.  This means 5 total lies for Trucks to be mafia.

So saying Trucks is the most simplistic version is not true at all.  Out of the 3 of us, it actually requires the most lies in order for him to be mafia.

You're right, Trucks cannot be the mafia, thanks for helping me come to that conclusion. We BOTH went after him last night. If one of us were the blocker (which one MUST be, if he's mafia) then his kill should've been blocked. YOU are the mafia.

Now, I just need to figure out how to convince Trucks.

(PS: I like your little intro to this day where you say "ok first things first". From where I'm standing, you were the last one to claim what you did last night, giving you ample time to come up with a lie, and that intro really comes off as a psychological tell. As in, you deliberately tried to give the impression that you had not done any formulating, or lie cause-and-effect. This could all be called conjecture, and I agree. It's just an interesting little note.)

 

I'm going to put my vote on you, and to Trucks, if you don't fully agree, allow me to take some time to put everything into perspective.

I do agree. I've had a bad feeling on Baal since the beginning and for once I'm gonna go with my gut and not overanalyze the situation.

Let's see if I continue my streak of choosing the wrong guy at the end:

No offense, but your bad feeling on me on day 1 was bullshit.  For absolutely no reason, you seemed to think I was lying.  There was absolutely no reason for me to lie when I didn't target anybody who died.

That would have more to do with my inexperience and just wanting a game to continue flowing than knowing anything.

That "first things first" was the first clue that you were the killer. Your proof that Trucks wasn't the killer was my second.

I know you looked through the scenarios and tried to guess who would be the best "lie", but you should have thought also about telling the truth. Had you said that you targeted FF due to my reasoning on day 2, you probably would have made me second guess trucks. In your lie, you cleared a townie to me, that was your second mistake.

Well it's all FF's fault I was confused. After Day One, I was sure I was harmless because I thought I was the only one target Baal on Night 0 then on the next Day Wonk comes in and says he targeted Baal on Night Zero so I thought to myself "Damn, he doctored Baal on Night Zero and now I just confessed to killing Heph"
