If you let it dry and it doesn't smell like pee, they just may actually. My friend spilled beer on his GBA when he was drunk years ago while it was in warranty. He called up and told them his baby dropped it somewhere or another and they replaced it free of charge.. If it smells like pee they probably won't do it as it may be endangering the techs health.. By all means they should charge for repairs like that but 75% of the time they simply don't.

Realistically almost any electronic will continue to work if it's allowed to dry but Nintendo tends to make them to last pretty well.
