Without repeating myself from old threads. The 360 sticks need to be made better, they are very cheap and very short, make them abit longer and increase their range by removing some of that plastic around the sides. If they must keep the concave form they need to add some form of grip to them like the rough surface of the PS3 sticks.

The 360 sticks do have bumps in them and since they are concave and not convex like the PS3, they already offer superior grip. They do need to fix the reliability, though. After a few months of Halo Reach I have 2 controllers that have issues. One of the thumbsticks on either controller now has a deadzone and and causes in game turns in certain directions to go rather slowly.

Just the 4 tabs, the center and sides are still very smooth on the stick.  I find more control in the PS3 sticks, looking at the two controllers now and it would seem to be more of a way you use the sticks.   Instead of just planting them in the middle of the sticks i tend to move my thumb around the stick.  With the thumb being moved around more, the raised surface of the ps3 sticks offer more grip to me.   Guess we all have our preference :)

Around the Network

its almost perfect already.
but things i would change would be:
get rid of the battery pack, its annoying and kinda hurts my fingers
improve the bumpers, make them more like the ps3's analog R1/L1
fix the D-pad, even with the new swivel pad it has, its still very bad
move the left stick down, on the same plane as the right stick, it makes no sense to have it up.

every thing else about the controller is perfect or just trivial
