Perhaps I was being a little paranoid. It just seems like there are certain titles from each console that continuously get pitted against one another. In those cases, whenever a thread is made about X game and someone comes in and says something about Y game.....it starts shit. I'm not saying it's right or wrong or whatever, I'm just saying that's how it has gone on here many many times. So often threads get derailed with a fanboy comparison and the the shit storm that follows. Again, I'm not saying certain comparisons aren't legit, it's just gotten to the point where when one is made, it starts a retarted "discussion". I know you know this happens all the time. I'm also certain you are in all likelihood being sincere. But c'mon, haven't you ever just rolled your eyes when you are reading a thread about a big title and that thread is going smoothly and then that one poster comes in and blindsides the thread with a comparison about the other consoles big game? I've seen it a lot in the MS forums (don't know about the other forums cause I don't have any reason to travel there).
I'm seriously not trying to start anything with you either, I like you and think you are a good poster. The reasons you posted for feeling the way you do are all completely valid. Perhaps I should have been the one to just shut the fuck up, lol. I was just predicting what I thought would be the start of yet another mess.
