Today Turn 10 Studios opened the door to the Forza Garage to start what seems to be a three-month long event which will reveal the cars in Forza Motorsport 4. Turn 10 says that cars from previous games and all-new ones will be slowly revealed every day. However, there is a catch. As stated on the official website: “Each day, the Turn 10 team will be announcing a number of Forza Garage cars on Facebook and Twitter. Then we’ll take a look at the community response (that is, the number of comments, Facebook reposts, and re-Tweets) and we’ll add more cars to the Forza Garage announcements—but only if you guys are excited enough.” While Turn 10 will update people daily on the new cars, the team will make weekly announcements summarizing what’s been revealed (as will RaceSimCentral). For the first new reveal, Turn 10 announced the 1993 McLaren F1 and the 2009 Ferrari California. They additionally announced the return of the 2009 Alfa Romeo Brera Italia Independent, the 2008 Lamborghini Reventon, and the 1995 Ferrari F50. Yes, it sounds like even more work, not unlike the Incentive Program. Instead of in-game rewards, this time the team is giving out information. For those who can’t wait until the week of October 11 for Forza 4’s release, this slow, unending supply of information may be enough to satiate your Forza addiction.
