I laugh at all you who support this. This is only the start, just wait until they raise game prices $20 next gen and add this fee to play the single player game. Just look at DLC, it started off as a good idea to have extra content for the game you like. But no they rip content straight from the game and wait two months to charge you $15 for it, not only that but now they have DLC on the stores before the games even hit retail. Whats that you have two kids and each with a PSN account, well thats too bad only one can play online. Whats that you want to play the game at a friends house, or give the game to a friend or family member to play. Thats too bad aswell give us another $10. So now we have... Game - $70 Day 1 DLC - $5 Content ripped from your game - $15 Oh whats that you want those extra maps that took them one week to make. - $45 Your brother wants to play on his account - $10 Enjoy your $145 games and remember how you wanted to support the devs as they spend 30Mil to make that game that just brought in 450million at retail.

First off, games aren't going to cost $70 next generation (I have a strong feeling that based on already having a $10 price increase this generation (which wasn't that big of a deal), a lot of people, myself included, would flip out if they did it again. Sales would likely drop quite considerably for a lot of games (I know I wouldn't buy as many games...some people do try to restrict overspending on items)). Second off, I highly doubt any game will require you to pay $5 to finish the single player campaign (The sales would be dreadful). Third, there are plenty of games that have no content ripped from them (Perfect example of one I just played is Portal 2). Yes, some games have content ripped from them, but inferring that every game like this is incorrect. Fourth, those extra maps are not required in any way whatsoever, if you don't want them, don't buy them. I'm also assuming you are talking if you were to purchase 3 map packs, because map packs sell for $15, not $45. Finally, I'm not certain about others, but with something such as EA Pass, the person who entered the code can play the game online on any console, and ANY psn user can also play online on the original console that the EA Pass was entered on. So to say a brother has to pay an additional $10 is incorrect (Assuming the other online passes work the same, which they likely do).
