The newly formed Pheu Thai party won with a significant majority, as was expected. Thahskin's popularity still seems to be huge, and his party returns to power after (from what I understand) the military deposed his party and put the Democrats in power.
One thing is for certain, their new PM may be the most attractive world leader:

Feel free to discuss the election and Thai politics here. I know most of us are from the west, so it may not be as huge as a European or American election, but its still fascinating to me, as Thailand is a cornerstone of ASEAN and is certainly one of the larger economies in the region.
