Forums - Sony - Sucker Punch hiring for new PS3 title!

Job listings that have appeared on both Sucker Punch Productions' website and Gamasutra have revealed that the studio is currently hiring for staff to work on a new PlayStation 3-exclusive title.

The listings, which appeared on both websites earlier this week, ask for people who can "take the visual imagination and quality in (Sucker Punch's) games to the next level" and help "kick start (the studio's) next big thing".

But what could Sucker Punch be working on? With Secret Agent Clank developers Sanzaru Games heading up development on Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time, the obvious guess would be a third inFamous title. But could it be something entirely different?

Unfortunately, Sucker Punch is going to keep us guessing - there aren't any hints in any of the job descriptions as to what the next game could be.

Sucker Punch's latest game, inFamous 2, launched on PlayStation 3 earlier this month. The developer has worked exclusively with Sony since 2000.

I remember reading an article a while back about SP Working on an IP that's not Sly or inFAMOUS. I have no idear what it could be. Maybe a new IP.

I can´t help but think time is running short for PS3 and that development should be moved to PS4.

So Sucker Punch might as well help out a bit with Sly 4.

Not specifically, though that would be the worse case. Just in general, making a game thats pretty much "standard" in the genre they decide to do.

??? Im saying that I believe that SP's new IP will be a Me too game, you assumed I mean copy ND, I said not specifically ND but that would be the worse case of a Me too game... im taking in general. SP's shouldnt bother making a New IP if what they are creating already Xxist multiple times on the market might as well just stick to current IP's if you dont want to do something freash.
