The epic conclusion of the Gears of War trilogy will feature a feature length movie's worth of cut scenes

Gears of War 3 will continue the story of Marcus Fenix and the COG and their fight against the locust and the lambent which tailed off with explosive consequences in Gears of War 2.

The BBFC has just classified the game, giving an approximate total running time of 90 minutes for the supplementary cutscenes.

Gears of War 2 featured 69 minutes of cinematics while Killzone 3 had 70 minutes.

Gears 3 is set to continue with the gruff voices, no-necked heroes and violent third-person shooting that made the first two entries mega-hits.

We can't wait. It's out on 20 September.

Sweet as long as half of these cutscenes have Cole in them and the other half has Baird in them everything will be fine.

But it is also going to be a longer campaign, their longest yet, according to Cliffy B... maybe it is the same ratio of gameplay to cutscene

As long as I can skip them, I like the games but I've never really cared for the characters. But this does have me wondering how much disc space this will require, and how much actual game there is.
