Forums - Sony - Best Hard Drive for PS3 60gig

Ok well I ran out of room on my 60gig PS3.

I installed a 500gig hard drive in the PS3 once, many moons ago, but after doing so it would not download online games like Fat Princess and such.

In fact the week I installed the 500gig HD was the week Fat Princess came out, but I had to return it because the PS3 did not agree with it.

I had put it off to long now. I was going to buy another 320 or 500gig HD tomorrow.

I'm going to CompUSA next to my house to buy my HD.

I need to know a few things:

What RPM should I get? I remember reading for 60gig, stay with 5400, not 7200. (I guess the heat it causes)

What is the best way to transfer info from my old 60gig to the new HD? (I have a couple 1gig thumbdrives?)

Is there a limit to what size the PS3 60gig can use? I remember reading that PS3 '60gig' have a hard time reading large HD's.
