Dragon Quest Builders coming west in October.

What.The.Hell.

P.S. Digital only though.

Get your fingers ready to gio Twitter feed.

Bet with gooch_destroyer, he wins if FFX and FFX-2 will be at $40 each for the vita. I win if it dont

Sign up if you want to see God Eater 2 get localized!! https://www.change.org/petitions/shift-inc-bring-god-eater-2-to-north-america-2#share

i don't really care if it's digital only, gonna buy this and gundam to show support and get the next releases here in the West. Can't believe they're actually releasing the vita version of builders though. Minecraft never appealed to me, but this one looks really cool.

Oh wow, great news ! Builders is a great game very enjoyable for those that like the build your town and explore the world type off game. I really liked it.

So it seems like I don't have any patience. I went ahead and got Dragon Quest Heroes II.

The game runs smoothly so far and seems to have much more focus on story than the first game which is a plus for me.

It is a sequel of original games true ending, which i am trying to get right now so i be ready for Zero.

Actually, from what i've read it's a sequel to one of the alternative endings and not the true ending.

Yep,the same I read... in a world where Makise Kurisu wasn't saved by Kyouma at the end...

Man, 2016 has turned out to be a great year for Vita owners! Seriously just look at the games that have either released or are going to be released this year (minus most indies since I can't keep up with them):

  • Atelier Escha & Logy Plus
  • Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth
  • Senran Kagur Estival Versus
  • Aegis of Earth: Protonovus Assualt (This is a surprisingly good game btw)
  • Xcom Enemy Unknown Plus
  • Civilization Revolution 2 Plus
  • Trillion: God of Destruction
  • Assassin's Creed Chronicles
  • Axiom Verge
  • Stranger of Sword City
  • Severed
  • Ray Gigant
  • Nep Nep 7.0
  • One Piece Burning Blood (I think)
  • Atelier Sophie
  • Odin Sphere Leifthrasir
  • Grand Kingdom
  • Zero Time Dilemma
  • God Eater Resurrection
  • God Eater 2: Rage Burst
  • Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs. Force
  • Shiren the Wanderer
  • Hatsune Miku X
  • Attack on Titan
  • Psycho Pass
  • Nep Nep 8.0
  • The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel 2
  • Meiq: Labyrinth of Death
  • Exist Archive
  • Yomawari: Night Alone
  • Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization
  • World of Final Fantasy
Plus if the Telltale games aren't cancelled (Tales from the Borderland, Minecraft Story Mode, Etc.) I'd imagine they'll release some time between October and December. Also I might be missing some because when I started typing the list I didn't expect it to be this long lol. Anyways, thats A LOT for a commercially failed system in it's 4th year.
Now all I need is Tokyo Xanadu, Digimon Next Order, and Dragon Quest Builders (Squeenix plz) confirmation.

You are a lucky guy, Dragon Quest Builders was just confirmed for next  october:

Easy to play for someone that knows very little japanese?

I Love Playstation, but my uncle works at Nintendo.

Well, looks like it won't have much competition for "best looking Vita game this year" since Digimon was a dud

Well, the map is pretty detailed and quests are shown on it as red flags (everything is marked that you can interact with )so it shouldn't be much trouble to know where to go (you can press start and see the full map if you can't see where u need to go from the mini map). combat is action based square and triangle for attack combos, L1 for defence, R1 + buttons for different spells, X to jump again pretty straight forward. Cutscenes are voiced so far so I imagine it shouldn't be diffucult to play through and understand if you've seen you fair share of anime :p . There is a skill tree to level up with different abilities though you can probably find its japanese guide easily like I used to do and google translate to know what the abilities do(Though some are pretty straight forward too like HP up or strength up). Yeah, I'd rank it as easy to play through so far (Keep in mind I'm still like an hour in)

Example of the map :

found this costume ^^

Root Letter fourth trailer
I'm very intrested in this but I'll wait for the english version to support its localization.
