| Kresnik said: I've actually bought quite a lot of DLC for Vita, mostly because it's all on-cart so the unlocks are really small file sizes (i.e. a few KB). Among the good stuff - Gravity Rush (adds some great content); Killzone (Botzone is a fantastic addition); Lost Dimension (The Beginning of the End is basically extra story content, almost necessary to understanding the game); WipEout 2048 (HD Fury content was basically a whole new game, lol). Less good stuff was Hyperdevotion Noire (extra character quests were far too short) and Shinobido 2 (can't stealth-kill the new enemies so it's not really fun, lol). |
I've only bought Gravity Rush and Muramasa dlc for all the systems I own (ps4, ps3, vita, 3ds, pc). Some games came with additional codes (borderlands, Game of the year eitions, some japanese imports had codes for extra chracters and such), but other than that I just don't have any interest in getting them. Most of my interest in a game is in its story (except if its an action type game like dark souls etc..) so as long as I'm satisfied with the inital story, I don't even read what the dlc episodes are about. FFX(novel) extra content for example ruined the game for me and i'm a big fan of X.
If Falcom made some additional story dlcs (trails, Ys) then I'd probably buy them day 1 (this needs to happn for some of the side characters !)
