I think the writing is definitely more enjoyable in DR2, the first one had the better, more opressive athmosphere though.

....on the other hand: DR2 has Mikan and Nagito.

The last cases have an really oppressive atmosphere, and the ending of DR2 is more surprising than the first one. I'm sure you will love the third case !

But how can you not like the murderer of chapter 2 after that execution?  Such feels!

The whole of Chapter 6 was just a whirlwind of surprises for me.  They kept throwing stuff in there that I just wasn't expecting at all.

There was just one thing that I was expecting which did actually happen, and I was slightly disappointed with:

Junko returning.  I knew she'd come back, but I had hoped she wouldn't.

Not a bad TGS for Vita then.

I'm slightly disappointed there were no big guns pulled out though. Vita needs some stuff for 2015 to keep the momentum going. Right now the only "big" title currently announced is Persona 4 Dancing (and even that's debatable).

Getting a load of F2P stuff from Square Enix is cool and all, but it's not going to help the system in the slightest.

Still, from a purely selfish point of view I'm happy. More Neptunia; Way of the Samurai is cool; Ys is cool and I'll be very pleased if Square Enix bring some of their F2P stuff over (Agito+ please!)

As long as the otaku ghetto keep trucking along on the console, I'm happy anyway.

Oh, and finally, I'll be buying Freedom Wars - 90% just to show my support for the physical release though.

Digimon? Though you're right, such is the position of the Vita in Japan at the moment, that a couple of must have games, would actually swing sales in favour of it over the 3DS, but clearly Sony aren't bothered enough and are focussing far more on PS4 :/

I've had a bit of a Vita day and been playing Earth Defense Force 2017 and Dynasty Warriors 8. I guess the patch did fix things? So far the levels I've played the frame rate has been incredibly solid.
