Oh that prequel trilogy thing is actually a PS Vita title? Chaos Ring is one nice SE output for smartphones (the first title is also availavle on PSM), so this is actually good news. Maybe native Chaos Ring trilogy is incoming for PS Vita later as one package?

As far as I know, the Prequel is actually a brand new game only on PS Vit (as of now). I think he answared that part of "Haven't heard about it" by saying Chaos Rings 1, 2 and 3 are smartphone titles, not that the Prequel title is a smartphone title too.

I don't know if this was good or bad news about Chaos Rings. I was hoping it was a port of 1-3 that I could import from Asia with English subtitles ;)

I think that everybody kinda reads this in their own way? To me it sounds that Chaos Rings 3 Prequel trilogy is boxed version of Chaos Rings 3 that will be released on iOS, Android and Vita + CR, CR Omega and CR 2 (which kinda make the Prequel Trilogy part of the name).

I've only played the first Chaos rings game, It wasn't bad but It wasn't great either. Hopefully, since then it has gotten better.

The thing is, I thought it was two titles: one called Chaos Rings 3 (iOS, Android) and the other Chaos Rings Prequel (Vita) lol.

Well, knowing S-E.. probably is a prequel made a trilogy. So this is the first chapter... but if it is like you say is better! I would pay for it but I hope the first two have some graphics upgrades... for a 2010 smartphone gam looks great, but for a 2014-5 vita game DON'T.
