Girthquake said: So I just recently picked up Borderlands 2 for the Vita and so far I am quite impressed with it. I know I am playing it after the patch that fixed a lot of issues but given the games size and just how much you can do plus all the additional content in the package, I think the game is simply amazing and the Vita really starts to show case it's power. Now I am not that far into it and maybe things get a little more rocky towards the later bosses but as of now I haven't seen much for frame rate dips and the game is quite impressive. Only 2 things I have noticed that is a but off, 1. Textures sometimes take forever to load so when it should be snow, it's actually a desert. 2. The mini is too small. That there is a small complaint but it sucks being so close to the objective and having 5 different paths to get to the quest objective. All in all very happy with the pick up and I encourage others to get it if on the fence. |
To pick a sandbox game on day one is useless, is better wait some days or weeks when is patched up, there have not been a sandbox without issues on day one, off course some are worse than others, but still is part of the genre...
@SnowPrince @teflon02: Yah the graphics from th first and only on trailer are waht You expect from Vita, spcially for a consol in its third year. look at what have been done with Tearaway and Killzone, and look at trailers and images from Digimon Cyber sleugh... if more third parties and the same SONY supported the Vita by now we would have some awesome looking games, may be even better than that trailer of Gravity Rush 2... Well, I'm sure for this TGS we'll know about that game... but my bet is that's still a Vita game because is a SONY japan game... and there Vita is still sellin well. AND if they take their sweet time making a awesome game the better, right?
BTW: watched a trailer of the first game from Compile HEart for PS4, Omega Quintet, and the graphics aren't too much next gen :/ well, a port for Vita is more possible now... Here the six minutes trailer:
