That's the thing. It gets so much support over there and still isn't doing any better than it is doing in Europe in which we have next to no support.

1st party games won't turn Vita into a success, but they have to turn it into a viable market for 3rd parties to develop for. Sony has to give us enough games that 10-15 million more people in the West buy the console (fast), so that 3rd parties take it from there. So far it's doing an awful job.

I think it's not so much a lack of games in the West, it's a lack of exclusive physical releases. The Vita has actually seen a lot of releases in the West in 2013 (as per my previous post, more than I've really been able to keep up with).

And just to confound the problem, Kresnik has now made me buy Earth Defense Force 2017 which yeah, I'd have had months ago if it was a physical release.

My backlog made me take til about a month nd a half ago to platinum it. I'm trying to clean up mine now, problem is PS Plus adds to it and gotta still Plat Persona (damn hardcore risette fan trophy smh)

I don't get why Sony haven't bought a game or two. Talk to Rockstar, pay the dev costs and regardless of userbase they'd say yes.

If they've done that, and Borderlands 2, Amazing Spiderman, Angry Birds and Football Manager 14 are the products, then yeah... waste of money!

I finally beat Legends of Heroes : Sen no Kiseki and damn, such an awesome game and an amazing epilogue. I had goosebumps through out the epilogue.

I need the sequel in my life now.

Well, time to move on with my life and continue the other games in my backlog, but I feel so drained now. I've been clocking 5 hours a day for the last 10 days on LOH

Maybe because it's selling to 126 million people in Japan vs. 740 million people in Europe.

Iwata said that the reason why they don't make their digital versions of the games cheaper is because it will make it seem like the value of the digital version has gone down or some dumb shit logic along those lines. so much fail

I give sony a lot of grief on many things but cross buy and 10% discount for vita digital titles are two great things as a consumer

You think if first party support was a lot bigger psvita would do 15 million i don't think so,psvita install base is small but they are pretty active.

I think western  is bigger then Japan,also psv don't have any big IP in Japan if vita get Final Fantasy,Monster Hunter and Kingdoms Hearts Vita would have 3 time more sale every week then what it have now.
