... the fuck.  That's some pretty new tracking there.  Wii-U wayyyyyy down in Europe (was doing 20k+ iirc) and Vita wayyyyyyy up in Europe (was around 14k before, iirc).

Nice.  I kinda thought Vita would be selling better than we had it here.  It's plastered all over the Champions League stuff that I see.

What's that you say? Earth Defense Force at a price I'll actually pay for a digital only release? Whoop!

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

EDF; Super Stardust and Tales from Space for me.  Pretty much every Vita game they've listed :P

I'm pleased with that EDF price though, it's decent.  I'd still rather have a retail copy but this will do for now.

Some financial news, Marverlous AQL had a 20% profit growth over the last quarter.

The company attributes the growth to good sales of "Valhalla knights 3" , and strong demand for "Senran Kagura : Shinovi Vs" and "Oboro Muramasa" even taking repeat orders ? (I guess they mean selling out the initial shipments and shipping more game copies) for both those titles.

Hatsune Miku Project Diva F is coming t western VIta!

So this is the reason I stoped posting here. I used to complain about the lack of western support and everybody always used to respond that I was exaggerating, however, that is the truth.

My question is, Which AAA games has Sony announced for the first six months of 2014? The answer is non (Maybe Invizimals, but that is just a 2013 game which was delayed in America). Of course Gravity Rush 2, Freedom Wars and Soul Sacrifice Delta (along with some other Japanese games) will be eventually released, but that will happen in the Third and Fourth Quarters. Sony has 10 western studios and non of them has announced something for the system, we only have a rumour of an "Infamous Vita," and some other games nobody cares about (Playstation Vita Pets, Big Fest, etc.).

That makes me sick, and it's no surprise that the Vita has very decent sales in Japan while in the US and Europe no one cares about it. Their only plan is "let the indies do our job" and "let's hope PS4's remote play will sell a few hundred Vita's."  This is the PSP all over again. Sony forgot about it due to the release of the PS3. Sony has like 20 AAA first-party games being developed for the PS4, and only a few for the Vita.

And it's not only the games, it's also the advertising. The only advertisement they make is upload a trailer in their YT channel, and that's it. Also, Sony makes crappy announcements for the system at E3 and GamesCom only to release a trailer of something way more interesting later in their blog and/or YT Channel.

That's it. I'm never going to talk about it again, but that doesn't mean I'm happy with the management of the system.

The way Sony treats the West, they should be grateful Vita is selling the way it is - still on par with Japan! I really don't understand why people keep on saying Vita can only survive in Japan, when it isn't doing any better there than it is doing in Europe even though it gets so much more love and support there. If we got this much love Vita would be in a far better place.

If we make a list of the 1st party support of big games that Vita got in the West since 1st January 2013 it begins and ends with Killzone. We're gonna get Tearaway in a couple of weeks and... What's next? Nothing so far. I think I'm gonna put this whole list into my sing and will keep on updating it... if anything changes, that is ;)

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

might have missed it but here's a new Tearaway trailer

About Marvelous SQL, I'm surprised we haven't heard of more game projects for vita from them. Looked like every game they put on it was a huge success for them

I don't think they've really announced anything recently.  They're not a massive company, so we've probably already seen their output for the year.  I don't doubt that they'll continue supporting Vita since it's exactly companies like them that flourish on the console.
