Dropping by to talk about my new purchase. Dead or Alive 5+ is awesome. Looks really fantastic on Vita (another game where screenshots haven't done it any justice - looks much better on the screen), and surprisingly fun to play. I haven't played any fighting games in a while (except for PSABR) and I'd forgotten how much fun this genre is.

The story though... I'm very lost. I guess that's what happens when a series goes Xbox exclusive between the last installment I played (2) and this one :(

Btw did anyone play Legends of Chima on PSV? Is it any good?

How was Resistance?  I have been wanting to pick it up.

Resistance is passable. I actually really enjoyed the last 2 chapters of the game (it only has 6) It really started to come into it's own, I think it was meant to have a few more levels but time constraints meant they rushed it out the door half finished.

It's worth a look if you can find it for around £10-15, but KillZone honestly completely blows it out of the water.

Bought KZ Day 1.  It is amazing.  Tied with P4G and Gravity Rush for best games on Vita IMO.  I have not played near as many games as are in that pic though...

Lego Chima is ok, it's the only Lego game I've ever played so I have no clue how it holds up compared to the other games but it was pretty fun. I'd say only by it if you find it for less than $20.

Jeff Minter's (Tempest 2000/Space Giraffe) latest crazy old school arcade shooter TxK was at Play 2013 and there's some good footage of it been put on youtube. Hey, it's a Vita exclusive, what more do you want? :P

Valhalla Knights 3 has also been confirmed for "Europe" on the 23rd of October. So guessing we're only getting a digital release of that :/

I want an open world wRPG!! Grrrr... This is just too much for me. Watching this video makes me crave a Witcher, TES, Dragon Age, Gothic or Kingdom of Amalur even more. C'mon Sony, do something about it, fix this huge whole in the Vita portfolio!

PS. Mike, you've played History: Legends of War, how good is it? I'm going to play it soon, I just want to wait till I finish VLR, but I'd like to know what I should expect.
