I can confirm that Crazy Taxi: Fare Wars is compatible in the UK. You can't buy the game from the Vita store, but if you buy it from a PS3 (and I presume if you bought it using the web store on PC too) then you can download the game directly to Vita, no need to transfer it. Was kinda surprised that it worked actually and I think in future I might try it with a few other games that aren't listed as compatible. As a side note, the game is pretty awesome so far. There's some pop in and the framerate isn't always great, but having one of my favourite arcade games of all time on the go with me is just awesome. And there's a whole other game (Crazy Taxi 2) thrown in that I've never played before! All for £3.69, too. |
The guy in the You Tube video thinks Crazy Taxi 2 is the better game but other than the mini games I think the first one has much better designed cities.
Man pop up is the bane of Crazy Taxi but I guess even the arcade original had it. One relic of the 90s I don't miss in gaming! I might have to have a look myself as it looked surprisingly close to the DC version on the You Tube video graphically.

(not in the EU store sadly, what about other stores?) Need the PSP to play?
