its kinda obvious why Vita has such a high attach rate. i mean how many casuals own one? most Vita owners are core gamers that buy games.

Obvious. The community is small but faithful and committed.

I think 50 mil software sold isn't right. I believe they said the 10 to 1 attach ratio is NA only, nothing about Europe and Japan (but I'm not 100% about it). Still, the adoption rate is significant and probably much better than say Wii U's.

Is the Let's Fish! Hooked On worth buying? It's on sale right now.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

The fact that Type 0 and VC3 < Tales depresses me

These are PSP titles. Both Tales are Vita games and remakes of titles that have never come to the US. Easy to see why it won out.

I don't think his question was ever about vita titles alone. Just a general Q on what games, especially JRPGs we would like to see on the vita. Type 0 is one of the most requested games in recent years. Vita is easy to develop for so it won't be hard to port the game, or at least have a digital release. Personally I don't think either Tales of innocence or hearts is anywhere near as interesting as Type 0..or even VC3.

meh not like I expect anything to come out of it. I will believe it when I see it..but for now Shahid is just full of it

As I already explained, I agree with outlawauron, here.

Type-0 and Valkyria Chronicles 3 are surely awesome, but they are PSP games. It's too late for them, from a pure marketing point of view, and their translation will be better left to fangroups.

For that reason, I voted for Phantasy Star Online 2 and Sen no Kiseki. Not sure I would be happy enough with some "Tales of ...", but at this point, everything is welcome.

Quite curious about what the GAFers wanted...

You know what's weird? I fully expected people who own a vita to be core gamers, but every time I check near, people near me own 1-5 games max and I probably have more than 50. Even my best friend who's a total casual gamer bought a vita and has only bought Fifa 13 (or 12), Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Assassin's Creed:Liberation. And it's been 6 months so far.  So some gamers must be buying quite a lot, while others not so many.

Mind=0 battle teaser. Are they even trying to NOT make Persona?

The graphics are a little underwhelming. Maybe it will still improve a bit.

Conception 2 looks way nicer IMO. And that has to multiplat with 3DS!

I'll still buy them both though.

I picked up Jak and Daxter trilogy after work today. I never ended up getting the PS3 version so it is amazing to get to play the first one again after so many years. I am still yet to try Jak 2 or 3 but about 3-4 hours into the first and having a blast. Do not get put off by people complaining about frame rate issues, if the first is supposedly the worst then 2 and 3 must be near perfect. I have barely noticed any frame rate drops during my playthrough so far. I cant get over how well such an old game has aged, I am enjoying it just as much now as I did when it was originally released on PS2. Do yourself a favor and buy this game i assure you you wont be disappointed. If you missed out on the PS3 version like me there is no excuse. Cant wait to play through Jak 2 and 3, I am going to finish the first one before I start them though.

Im a big DW fan, i hope this is better than DW Next on Vita. that game dissapointed me.

Well, I go to sleep for 8 hours and wake up to 3 game announcements!

This is why I'm less worried about Vita games in Japan. They might not announce them at Sony Directs or even save them all for TGS, but there just seem to be a stream of announcements throughout the year. Yes, I know, mostly ports or multi-plats, but better than getting nothing at all.

I'm surprised how much Tecmo Koei is supporting Vita, to be honest. Good for them.

And Mind=0 actually reminded me of the battles I saw from 7th Dragon 2020. Just the layout of the screen I think. The Persona vibe is pretty strong, though :P. But I'm glad it has third-person rather than first-person battles. That alone gets me interested and now I hope it gets localised.

is it odd that i would chose a game with 3rd person fights over 1st person, even if the battle system was the same. theres very few games i will play if the battles are in 1st person, which just seems stupid but i do it anyway
