This. Hate to admit it but it really is looking like Sony has no plan B or intention of forming one. Unless they're relaunching when the ps4 comes, but I'd have expected that to be announced last night. Oh well. I still has plenty of Vita stuff to work through :D
Lol Mugen weren't you selling your Vita after last E3 too? ;)

They can't announce them now with no software support. They wouldn't be very effective ;)

Problem is, when is that big software support coming outside of Japan? Because nothing I've seen announced so far looks like it'd help even a cheaper Vita fly off the shelves. The only new game on my to-buy list is the Walking Dead so far, and that itself is a late port.
Vita need game like mgs and gta
PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m
Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

Agree.
But the question is: what does Sony think?
To me the Vita management looks like it's in a sort of strategical disarray. Common sense would suggest, as first step, to evolve the titles who sold the PSP. So, the primary mission for Sony would have been to ensure that titles like a new portable Metal Gear Soild, a new Grand Theft Auto, the next episode of Monster Hunter and some portable version of Gran Turismo were coming to the Vita, and with top quality graphics and gameplay.
But the exact reverse is happening!... I have the impression that the games needed are the ones that we are less likely to get. In their place, we are offered indie games, some experimental new property and a trash version of Call of Doodee.

GTA is a no go since GTA V will release this year. No excuse for Monster Hunter though. They should have kept it no matter the cost. Same with Gran Turismo. Who cares about Gran Turismo 6, apart from ethomaz?
Their plan is obvious now, just letting it die and hoping that existing customers will be happy about the streaming console games. I am quite happy with my purchase but seeing the support die in a two years is terrible.
Let's see what will happen at Gamescom.
