Forums - Gaming - Has Metacritic or Gamerankings started rating E3 presentations yet?

It looks like it is getting cemented with each E3 that passes.  There is saying so and so won or lost E3 (or other shows).  About every game site out there says so and so own and lost E3.  I figure that things will soon evolve to where they will give each presentation an X out of 10 ratings to.  After this, how much sooner before Metacritic and Gamerankings  will do cumumlative ratings on E3 presentations?  And throw in also whether or not the presentations disappoint or not.  I am seeing stuff like "X disappointed" and so on, and maybe RottenTomatoes will rate the presentations like they do movies.

I have to ponder "Why?" to all this.  Why think of the E3 presentations as entries in a competition or movies?  Why not just think of them as a sales brochure of sorts and then comment whether or not what was presented was of interest or not?  Isn't what is coming out matter far more than how much the show entertained?  I personally think both Sony and Microsoft did what they were supposed to.  Now, if you were to ask me NOT who won, but who may have a stronger hand?  Well, I think Sony did what they had to with the PS3 (bye-bye PS2), and the Vita is going to prove to be a strong challenge for the 3DS, at the same price point.

Anyhow, I will sign out remember how in 1999 people were saying that Sega won E3 with the Dreamcast.
