Forums - Sony - Bioshock Infinite to support Move controller after all

And there's dancing in the streets!

Irrational's Ken Levine just announced Move support for the incredible looking Bioshock Infinite at Sony's E3 press conference.  Not long ago, Levine was quoted in an interview stating that the game would not support Sony's peripheral, much to my dismay.

Elizabeth, before Move support was added...

But apparantly after trying it out for himself (and with a little persuasion from Sony), Bioshock Infinite will now support the Move controller for those of us who love pointer control in their shooters, as well as traditional dual analogue for the purists.  Personally, I couldn't be happier.

He seemed very closed minded about move while he was explaining why he didnt want it at first I dont know were he got the idea that move was for sports games only

Glad to hear. Apparently developers are slowly being won over by the Move. Not Cliffy B, of course. He still praises Kinect (while not supporting it), and bashes Move.  Kinda sucks, cause Bulletstorm could have had some interesting uses for the Move.  So, in the words of Buzz Lightyear, he is a "sad, strange little man."

Indeed.  Fortunately, he's been enlightened now.

Yeah I know.  I find that pretty funny, especially as you said, games like Bulletstorm and Gears would benefit so much more from the Move than Kinect.

Doubt + money = no more doubt

Yea.  He keeps making fun of how Move looks, but if it helps with 1:1 control (which helps gameplay), who cares.  I mean it would be cool if in, say Bulletstorm, when you shoot out that leash beam, you just move the Move in what way you want the enemies to go.  Thrust it towards you to fling the enemies towards you.  Or thrust it down to bash the enemies into the ground.  Or Hell, just fling around in the air for the fun of it.  But, unfortunately, Cliffy B is pretty biased towards MS, so no.  And really, Kinect was around long enough, and GeOW3 was still in development, so it could have been implemented into the game if he truly thought it was so great.
