Forums - Sony - Rumor: Uncharted for NGP named!?

A trusted source has told RipTen that the previously titled Playstation NGP is now in fact called the Playstation Vita, and everyone’s favorite Sony adventurer will be making a splash on the next generation handheld.

Whilst the details are relatively shallow right now, the source inside Sony has confirmed that the Vita and Golden Abyss are in fact real names and will be announced soon, possibly at or prior to E3 2011.

IF true, Great great name for the Uncharted game, I love it. the PSP name however...not too sure about it :S PSV!? meh I'll get used to it I guess

If Vita is the real name I will get used to it (although I don't really like it). In the end it's the games that count. And Golden Abyss sounds great :)

word to word I agree, not my cup of tea either (tho I believe they should go for a name other than psp2 personally, would have picked something else than this) but yeah, who cares what's it called LOL gimme mah Uncharted nao

Yeah, it wouldn't have been great either if they just called it PSP2. But anyway, just 8 more days till we get more info on it. Will be the longest week ever >_<
