I'm not sure. I've never heard of anything like that.

He must be authorized by the Congress to accept gifts from foreign states. If they exceed a limit value, he must buy them from the State if he wants to keep them. I guess even a collection edition of a game should be within the limit.

Well cheap trick from our prime minister to get some attention from young people in coming elections... still I find it nice, it's good to promote my country in a modern way. Few days ago Witcher 2 was shown along with Bulletstorm, Sniper Ghost Warrior, Call of Juarez and Painkiller on news in TV, so yes, gaming is becoming popular here :)

BTW, Witcher 2 sales in Poland during first 3 days - 56,000 (source: http://di.com.pl/news/38093,0,Rekordowo_wysoka_sprzedaz_Wiedzmina_2_w_Polsce.html )
