Forums - PC - Windows 8 release next year, Source claims it will "relaunch PC gaming"

Major exclusive PC games reveal next year confirmed?

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

I wonder if Microsoft will try and buy steam, that would bring everything full circle. In a nightmare kind of way.

Saying that it would be kind of cool to have 100% steam intergration into the OS, as long as you could easily stop the autoupdating for 3g connections.

Valve is worth 4 billion and majority of valves worth is steam, that would be another major move that wont get MS anywhere like Skype purchase. Becasue gamers would just go to someone else instead.

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong

I just got Windows 7 (Free) but I still just got it LOL...

That doesn't even make sense.  If Windows buys Valve (for steam purposes), people will still use it.  Gamers don't hate Windows, they hate GFWL.  Microsoft knows Steam works, they wouldn't change it to where gamers no longer like it.

Also, I respecfully disagree that the Skype purchase gets them nowhere.  I think it is a very good investment, has potential for profit in several areas including advertising and the ability to call phones for a low cost.  Overall, there are TONS of people that use it, and the number is only going up.  Even if they don't make that terribly much profit out of it, they will likely be able to sell it for more several years down the road.

Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.
