Forums - Microsoft - Halo: Reach Gets Campaign, Multiplayer, Cooperative Demo

TVB

Larry Hryb, Xbox Live’s director of programming has just revealed via his blog that Bungie’s Halo: Reach now has a demo available on Xbox Live, over half a year after its release.

It’s the franchises’ first ever demo, including the ‘Long Night of Solace’ mission from the main campaign along with the ‘Powerhouse’ map for multiplayer and a Firefight co-op mission.

The demo is out now (depending on your region), coming in at 1.74 GB. Go grab it! Unless of course you, like every other Xbox owner, already have the game.

Is Reach better then ODST? I can't express enough my disappointment with that horendous game. I seriously can't believe that was made by Bungie. Hoping Reach has more of a Halo 3 campaign style.

I'll pick it up soon ($20 soon).

Should spur on a few more sales, makes me wanna go play firefight!!

Oh please...ODST campaign was best Halo campaign since part 1. It was a little light on multiplayer content but as a campaign that game was a breath of fresh air, compared to the usual run, gun and melee gameplay of master chief.

Are you guys serious? It was beyond awful. The story was ass, they eliminated double guns, rerunning of environments, and forgettable characters.

I will give it points for being somewhat difficult.

Well I just finished the campaign this past Sunday and I really enjoyed it.  Hopefully this will help boost sales a little, even though it has sold very well up to this point.

Who cares what they eliminated... The gameplay was balanced and challenging and that should be all that matters.

Story wasn't bad at all. It was a lot more grounded and human than any halo before it which I could see being unexpected for a Halo game, but not bad by any means.

Halo Wars was a fairly good strategy game. I liked it.
