wasn't there already a game with that used a real guitar as opposed to the plastics?
"I don't know what this Yamcha is, but it sounds just like Raditz."
If its good and works with my pro Rock Band 3 fender guitar I will get it.

Yes Rock Band 3 and to a lesser extent The Gig.
If it teaches you how to play a REAL guitar...I'd actually be interested in buying it.
But if spare strings are sold as DLC I'd be pissed.

Rocksmith is actually on my top 5 list of games I want to get this year. I finally got my You Rock guitar connected up into Rock Band 3 pro-mode and it is an awesome experience. One of my favorite experiences of this generation. I hoping Rocksmith is just as fun. It probably won't be quite as good as Rockband 3 because it doesn't use a MIDI-input but it should be fun-- I really like the idea that one can plug their real guitar into it.
Most anticipated games of 2011:
Uncharted 3,Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Rocksmith
Modern Warfare 3, Super Mario 3D
See,s interesting. I wonder hopw it compares to being taught gutiure by a person. I may pick this up if I feel I have time for it.
I hope they get the lag time right. In all the other music games (from Donkey Konga to Guitar Hero) you have to push the button far too early! ...

Sometimes you have to adjust settings on your tv for a more responsive time.
