| CGI-Quality said: Even if I have GTA IV/Red Dead wrong on dev type (which a source would be nice if I am), hardly anyone would argue that PS3 ports have been generally worse than 360 ports. When the devs themselves say it's easier to port the other way around (and then the result reflects their sentiments [for the most part]), it adds validity to the point. I haven't blamed the 360 for inferior ports, I'm saying as the more complicated architecture, PS3 is the one that many devs are now leading on (and has resulted in, seemingly, better overall results). Both Capcom & Criterion considered leading on PS3 benefical when developong titles like Burnout Paradise & Devil May Cry 4. EA has also backed up their claims, which is why the majority of their games are also lead on PS3. Edit: Found one for Red Dead Redemption (which was a simultaneous dev type): http://kotaku.com/5537476/one-excellent-hour-with-rockstar-games-talking-red-dead-redemption I'm guessing they did something similar with GTA IV (although I couldn't find a source). So I was wrong it seems (on at least Red Dead), but the point still remains. |
Your point is moot since you just gave yourself proof that Red Dead Redemption was indeed made simultainiously.
Tease.
